ABOUT THE FUND
The Andrew Graham Semper Fi Fund was created to honor the life of Corporal Andrew Graham Narcus, a U.S. Marine from Sudbury, Massachusetts. The organization's mission is to generate funds through traditional fundraising activities and endow scholarships at Massachusetts community colleges, helping students succeed.
Andy Narcus was a proud Marine who took incredible pride in every action of his life; Andy meritoriously earned the rank of corporal in July 2002. He always impressed everyone with his positive attitude and his strong demeanor. Whether Andy was being a loving son, loving older brother, a friend, a teammate or being a Marine he carried himself with the highest honor and respect. Tragically on December 19, 2002, Andy was killed by vehicular homicide during his travel home for the holidays. Andy was 21 years old. The person who killed Andy was never found and the case was never solved.
Proudly, on November 9th, 2014 the Andrew Graham Semper Fi Fund completed its original three year, $25,000 fundraising goal at the third annual Boston RIver Run 5K, successfully endowing the corporal Andrew Graham Narcus Memorial Scholarship at the Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School.
The Andrew Graham Semper Fi Fund has a new mission: to endow scholarships at Massachusetts Community Colleges. These schools are a staple of the education system and awarding students with the Andrew Graham Semper Fi Fund Service Award will broaden our ability towards helping students succeed.
The goal of the 2015 Boston River Run 5K is to endow a scholarship at Bunker Hill Community College in honor of corporal Andrew Graham Narcus and 100% of funds raised go directly to the Andrew Graham Semper Fi Fund.
