My first patient as a Nursing Assistant was a Spinal Cord Injury patient. I had for this patient during the recovery phase. Its a very difficult recovery and affects your entire life with pain and numerous discomforts.
250,000 Americans are spinal cord injured, 52% of spinal cord injured individuals are considered paraplegic and 47% quadriplegic. Please help support our cause, again every little bit helps.
