About the Ride
The committee that brought you the award-winning Tehachapi GranFondo proudly presents the 2nd Annual Tehachapi Mountain Bike (MTB) BrewFondo being held at Central Park on Saturday October 28, 2017
Last Year’s event was a great success and we were able to raise enough funds to construct a visitor kiosk and new signs throughout the entire Lehigh Trail system.
We anticipate a few hundred advanced, intermediate and novice mountain bike riders will enjoy the ride as we promote and celebrate Tehachapi’s unique beauty and culture while raising funds to support our local Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association, a non-profit organization.
There are three distances offered with similar routes. The ride is expected to last 2-3 hours. Each of the routes lead away from Central Park to the nearby Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association (TMTA) /Lehigh Trail system on the north side of Hwy 58 – the very same trails that host the SoCal National Interscholastic Cycling Association Mountain Bike Championships (NICA). The trails are primarily pristine single track with breathtaking views of Tehachapi valley.
