About Autism Awareness 5K Run
This event is the primary fundraiser for our Center and each year we use it as a platform to raise awareness for autism in West Tennessee.
Here are some of the unique ways in which we serve this patient population:
--A weekly book club to address their diverse needs using sounds, smell, sight and touch for greater learning experiences.
--A summer language camp for children with autism spectrum disorders along with other children wtih special needs.
--Our assistive technology library provides diverse ways for our ASD patients to communicate with the world.
Our staff is continuously working to raise funds to be able to purchase new equipment and supplies to benefit our clients. We promote our annual 5K by focusing on Autism Awareness and with your support, we anticipate an exceptional event.
