If you know me even a little, you know I adore dogs! Losing our dog Maggie to cancer was unexpected & devastating. I know that the wonderful staff at Angell did their best, but it was not enough to save her. More research is needed to help prevent the #1 disease killer of dogs & cats. I'm running this race (thinking of all the times I "ran" with Maggie) to help bring awareness of and funds to cancer research for dogs & cats.
Our furry friends ask for so little during their short time on earth, so when it's their turn to ask for help, I'd like to hope that we are equipped give it to them.
