Hi everyone! 2016 will be my fourth year raising money for Lyme Disease research. Thanks to my generous family, friends, and co-workers, last year I was able to raise over $1,000.00. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease almost 5 years ago and since then I have been able to help others who were unaware that they had Lyme and provide them with support and doctor recommendations. Lyme disease is one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in our country and it is my goal to learn more about this complicated disease, create awareness, and continue to support others who are going through what I have.
This year my fundraising goal is $1,500.00 and it is our hope to get more accurate testing, improved treatment, increased awareness, and more support with the money that is donated to Global Lyme Alliance through this 5k run.
