Dear Friends and Family-
This year will be my second running of the Daffodil Run, a major source of funding for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire county. We are a spectacular, caring and dedicated group who care deeply about the future of the youth in our community. This year the need for fundraising is most acute, as we lost a MAJOR source of funding- close to $40k was NOT renewed through the Community Development Block Grant - CDBG of Amherst. That amount covers things like the salary for 1/2 case manager--which translates to at least 15 matches that can't be supported-for example! We will need to make up this deficit in some way through additional grant sources AND fund raising !
So Be a $upporter in any way you see fit! I have also created a team-Jen's Buds-get it ? flowers, buds, friends...so if you are in the area and want to move your feet in a fun event, sign up to join us. I will have some sort of team swag for all team members!
