Dear Community Investors, Friends, and Family,
And so begins the racing season in Western, MA. which is also code for my many asks, pleas, emails, and conversations with you about helping me to support so many wonderful non-profit organizations in our region. As far back as I can remember (2009 is my first real race fundraising memory thank you Hot Chocolate Run) I have been using races as a way to personally step up and support the many wonderful charities that do so much for so many in our area. It is a way for me not only to get out and stay fit but has also been a vehicle for teaching Maddy (and soon Charlie) about how we give and sustain an environment for ourselves and others in our neighborhood. So thank you for once again being on my list of hand raisers, check writers, and high fivers, without you there is no ask, no run, no support, and no community. Until we meet again, may the road rise up to meet you and the wind be at your back.
