Event Information
Join us for the Rutland Police 5K-9 on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00am. Race will begin and end at the Glenwood Elementary School, 65 Glenwood Rd, Rutland, MA 01543.
K-9 Officers and their dogs will be running too! Participants are encouraged to run with their four legged friends (dogs only). Open to all runners and walkers. Please, no aggressive dogs.
Join us at the finish line for the After Race Party. There’ll be K-9 education and police K-9 demonstrations. Fire trucks, emergency vehicles, vendors and music will be on hand!
Beer tent and lunch provided by Center Tree Bar & Grill. All race participants (21+) will receive a coupon for one complimentary beer!
Plenty of parking is available at the Glenwood Elementary School.
Rain or Shine, we’ll see you there! Register early, prices go up one week before race day! Online registration will close at 6pm on May 2, 2019.
Bib pickup will be on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 5-8pm at the Rutland Police Station, 242 Main St, Rutland, MA and on race day at the Glenwood School starting at 9am.
In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound and hereby waive or release any and all right and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Race Director, the Rutland Police K-9 Foundation, The Town of Rutland, Racewire.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees. I also authorize the use of photographs or videos that include my image for promotional, informational, or other reasons deemed to be in the best interest of the event.
I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my physical condition has been verified by a licensed Medical Doctor. By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above waiver.
