About This Event
Love to run? Hate to run? We have the road race you’ve been training all year for! While many are doing the Boston Marathon this race is perfect for just about anybody!! Come to Riverwalk Brewing March 31, 2019 to support a great cause for Boston Children’s Hospital, a grueling and New England's premier 0.0K road race! By preregistering for the event, you will be issued your very own numbered running bib, a Riverwalk Brewing T shirt, a 0.0 bumper sticker (to show off your success) and a celebratory beer at the finish line, should you complete this challenging course. The race will begin promptly at 12:00 pm (please arrive 15 mins early to register and get your bib) at the starting line just outside the brewery doors, to blast of the fog horn, don’t fret, this difficult course will have a convenient water stop on the way to the finish line. We will all make our way to the bar stools/tables inside, to rehydrate and celebrate a race well run. If you’re feeling even more competitive, sign up for our cornhole tournament immediately following the race!
Although not mandatory, we strongly suggest sporting your BEST RUNNING ATTIRE, to take full advantage of the spirit of a 0.0k race! There will be awards for race winners, best dressed, CASH PRIZES for cornhole tournaments winners, as well as lots of music, a 50/50 raffle, and many chance to win items, but most importantly beers, food, and fun!

100% of proceeds will be donated to Boston Children’s Hospital in honor of the Race Director's patient partner, Oton Porres, whose family traveled from Mexico to have him treated at Boston Children's for a very aggressive tumor. We are looking to give back and help fuel the future with more solutions and care for all who suffer. Join us for this fun Riverwalk Brewing 0.0k Road Race and cornhole tournament to become part of the solution!
Schedule:
11:45am– Check in, and pre-run group stretch
12:00pm – Race begins
12:01pm – Race complete!
12:10pm – Awards & gift card drawing
Celebrate with some delicious Riverwalk brews, good music and take your chance at luck with a 50/50 raffle.
12:30pm – Cornhole tournament begins, Prizes for winners at completion! (Please provide your team name in the registration process)
4:00pm- The Fundraiser officially ends but welcome to stay for a few more as the Brew Yard closes at 8pm
