About This Event
The TBC 5k and Fun Run is a community event to benefit The Bridge Center, a 501 (C3) organization that provides year-round therapeutic recreation and equine therapy programs for individuals with disabilities.
The Bridge Center offers specialized year-round and summer camp opportunities and experiences for all abilities and all ages to work towards independence and improve overall quality of life, in the South Shore of Massachusetts and beyond. The TBC 5k and Fun Run will help provide funds to support programs, the over 1,700 participants we service annually, and the thousands of others The Bridge Center has yet to serve.
Registration opens at 10:30am.
Fun Run starts at 11:30am.
5k starts at 12:00pm
Post Race after party starts as soon as you cross the finish! Black Hat Brew Works will be here pouring local brews with food trucks to enjoy some post race eats!
The Course
UPDATED from 2018!
The route was designed in 2018, creating a brand new road race experience for participants looking to try something new! The course was revamped in 2019. The course starts and finishes at The Bridge Center, allowing plenty of space for parking and event activities over the 20 acre campus. Runners will take to the course which will bring them on a scenic 3.1 mile race starting at The Bridge Center, heading down the road, and running through Olde Scotland Links Golf Course!
With the changes to our event this year, we have created a time limit. This event is open to all participants that can complete the 5k distance in 60 minutes or under!
Awards
Awards will be given out to 1st and 2nd Place overall winners as well as male and female age groups: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

EnRace Participation Waiver
I know that running a road race is potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the race and agree to abide by them. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road golf carts crossing on Pine Street, golf carts on cart path, golf balls, contact with golf balls, and all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or roller blades, animals, are not allowed in the race and I will abide by all race rules. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and inconsideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the TBC 5k and Fun Run, the city of Bridgewater, MA, The Bridge Center, and all event sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that this event does not provide for refunds in the event of a cancellation, and by signing this waiver, I consent that I am not entitled to a refund if the event is cancelled before or during the event.
