Come out and run with your Love, for your Love, or in memory of your Love!
Join us on July 14th 2019 for this empowering event. Our professional race is a chip timed 5K event followed by a kids 1K run.
We will be running a flat out and back course along the beautiful San Diego Bay enjoying Seaport Village in the quiet of the rising sun!
* All ages and abilities are welcome to run, jog, or walk.
* All finishers receive a medal.
* Winners in every age category will receive a pair of fun running socks!

Soaring Spirits builds community. We create, and maintain, innovative peer-based grief support programs for widowed men and women that serve a worldwide population. Based on the powerful connections created by shared experience, we endeavor to ensure that no one need grieve alone.
Every Soaring Spirits program is designed to connect widowed people with each other. Exploring our site will introduce you to the variety of support opportunities available. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have, or provide additional information about any of our programs.
Soaring Spirits is an inclusive, non-denominational organization focused on hope and healing through the grieving process. We are positive, and forward thinking, while focusing on offering our members the tools and resources they need to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of the death of a spouse or life partner.
We believe that access to hope changes lives; we can prove that hope matters.
I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of the official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including, but not limited to, falls, contacts with other participants, the effects of weather, including heat and/or humidity, conditions of the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.
Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I , for myself and anyone entitled to act in my behalf, waive and release Soaring Spirits International, the Port of San Diego, and all sponsors, their representatives, any other persons assisting with the race, and their successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the race even though the liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for legitimate purpose.
I understand that if the event cannot be held on July 14th due to circumstances beyond the control of the race committee and sponsors, including, but not limited to, unsafe weather conditions or governmental ban, the race will be cancelled and will not be rescheduled for another date this year.
**For safety and insurance reasons we must prohibit bicycles, and dogs, from this event. Headphones are not allowed. Baby strollers are allowed if designed for running and will start behind the other runners. Thank you** SecureFee™ Registration Cancellation Insurance is offered in most states.
