About This Event
The FPR Hay Bale Run benefits Family Point Resources a community center located in Northwest, Houston that provides after school enrichment for the community youth which includes fine arts, sports/rec., tutorials, counseling , mentorship programs, and a creative space for its participants.
Chip Timed Event
Packet Pickup: Packets will be available for pickup October 4th, Friday afternoon between 3PM and 6PM at West Houston Outreach Center (725 Bateswood Drive Houston, TX 77079). Packets will also be available on race day 7:00 AM at the registration tent located at the south end of the track near the long jump pit.
Youth USATF or AAU Club teams should register through athletic.net portal ONLY.
Course:The course will be ran on mostly grassy terrain and partially on a crushed gravel path. There is one hill and several hay bale jumps along the course.
Awards/Scoring: Championship Ring will be awarded to the Coach/Captain of the first place team of each division. Coach/Captain of the Runner-Up team will receive a plaque. Top 10 ten runners in each division will receive a medal. We will score the top 5 finishers from each team with runners 6 and 7 used as tie breakers if needed. Awards will be distributed after each divisional race.
2nd Annual FPR Hay Bale Run complimentary T-Shirts will only be given to adult registrants/participants.
