The Movement Voter Project Running for Democracy Virtual 5K

You may not be able to run for office. But you can run for progress and help us deliver the changes we need in the November election.

All proceeds from this virtual race – in locations across the country – will be donated to the Movement Voter Project (MVP).

The MVP supports hundreds of local community-based organizations that are mobilizing voters and strengthening progressive power at all levels of government. MVP believes that assisting local movement vote groups, especially those focused on youth and communities of color, is the most effective strategy to transform the country.

The November 3 election is a critical moment for citizens to ensure that we, and our children, are part of a more inclusive future.

And we’re organizing runners and walkers – and groups of runners or walkers -- to help. By pounding the pavement, we can support the best and most promising grassroots groups in key election states.

Donors or groups of donors can run or walk any time during the week of Aug. 23-29. This just happens to be the week of the Republican National Convention.
