About the Event
This event has been scheduled to take advantage of the spectacular fall foliage around the reservoir. You've seen this reservoir many times as you drive along Route 128 in Waltham. This is a challenging course with rolling hills thru wooded areas and over newly completed overpasses. It begins and ends at the Reservoir Woods complex adjoining the reservoir which has parking for a thousand cars and room for a great post race celebration. This race gets its inspiration from an old nighttime event not held for many years but on almost the the same course. Because of the overwhwhelming response from the corporate community we anticipate a big turnout including a team challenge. It's also the cornerstone event supporting the (RAW) Race Around Waltham series.
