Awards
Awards will be given to the top three finishers for male and female runners. Awards will be given to the top three runners in each race in the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.

Parking
If you choose to park in Payson Park, please pay attention to the No Parking zones. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS!

The Fit at 5K route starts and ends in Payson Park in Portland:
Race Start at Payson Park – Soccer Field Street Start
Follow Payson Park Road to intersection take/bear Right
End of Road take right to Baxter Boulevard staying on right hand side of street running with traffic
Take Right to Vannah Ave
Take Right To Clifton Street
Take Left to Codman Street
Take Right to Ocean Ave
Take Right to Chenery Street
Take Left to Bayview Street
Take Left to Clifton Street
Take Left to Pya Road
Take Right to Ocean Ave staying on right hand side of street running with traffic
Take Right to Payson Park - FINISH
About the Fit at 5K
We have featured so many success stories on Fit at Five. Now we want you to be a part of it, too. Are you ready to get moving? Well here's a chance to put that motivation to the test. Sign up for the WCSH 6/WLBZ 2 Fit at 5K!
You don't have to be a runner to joins us, in fact, we are hoping to see lots of first time runners. This will be a fun event giving you a taste of the supportive community races offer.
Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick Up will be Saturday, September 28th from 10:00 am - 1 pm at Maine Running Company. They are located at 309 Marginal Way, Portland, ME 04101.
You can also pick up your packet on Race Day, Sunday, September 29th from 7:30 - 8:30 am.
Our Race Beneficiary
Your participation in the Fit at 5K will help Special Olympics Maine fulfill its mission to provide year-round sports and nutrition training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics provides continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, overall health, demonstrate courage , experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. On behalf of WCSH6 and Maine’s 3700 Special Olympians – THANK YOU!

Awards Ceremony: 10:00 am
Registration Fee: $25 + Service Fee $3.00
