Fontana Days Half Marathon & 5K

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity; I will not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. If I enter the race with a dog, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to abide by the dog safety rules: I am aware that no one under the age of 18 may run with a dog, and I assume all legal responsibility for my dog's behavior. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I assume all risks associated w/ running the event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effect of weather (including rain, wind, snow, ice, cold and high heat or humidity), traffic and the condition of the road. I am aware that running in Portland, Maine during February brings with it the possibility of strong wind and low-temperature wind chill; I understand how to prepare for such conditions in terms of running gear, clothing and/or costume. In consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the The Longfellow Chorus, the City of Portland, Maine, USA Track & Field, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors for all claims and liabilities arising from my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photograph, motion picture, recording or any other record of my participation in this event for any legitimate purpose.
