Post Race Party
Immediately following the awards ceremony at Leather City Common a post-race party will take place at Brodie's Pub, located at 10 1/2 Lowell Street.
Parking
Parking is available on Rail Road Ave., behind the Leather City Common and runs parallel to Lowell Street.
About This Event
The Patrick Downey 5K is designed to raise awareness for esophageal cancer. All proceeds benefit the Patrick Downey Foundation, an official 501(c)3 charity.
Chuck Giveaway
You must be pre-registered and have already picked up your bib number in order to receive a free pair of Chucks. You must indicate your size during registration. The Chucks are for the participant and will be given out first-come, first-served on the morning of the race, not at number pick up the day before. There is a limited number of free Chucks. If you are not interested in a free pair of Chucks for yourself, please don't fill out a size when registering.

I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this race including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Patrick Downey 5K and all sponsors, organizers, and volunteers of this event; the City of Peabody; their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
