The Charity
A portion of race proceeds will support Christmas in Historic Plymouth to continue the tradition of the annual tree lighting and parade. Additionally, in partnership with The Boston Bruins Foundation, the race will support Toys for Tots.
The Event
The 3rd Annual Winter Lights 5K will take place on Friday, December 5th, 2014. Join Santa and the Town of Plymouth for the annual tree lighting on Main Street as part of the Christmas in Historic Plymouth Celebration. When the tree lights go on, the race begins. Run through the downtown and along the waterfront for this early evening event to celebrate the start of the holiday season. The race will begin at 6:15 pm.

IMPORTANT!!!!
Remember, the race will be run in the dark. There will be lights along the way but each participant is required to run with a flashlight or headlamp to ensure they are visible to traffic. You are also encouraged to wear a reflective vest if you have one.
Parking
Parking information for the event can be found at: http://www.parkplymouth.com. Remember that the race is taking place in conjunction with the Christmas is Historic Plymouth event. There will be alot of people in Downtown Plymouth. Carpooling is recommended.

For those looking for a family event, in the restaurant we will have Santa, The Boston Bruins Foundation including the Ice Girls and mascot Blades as well as a variety of beverages and hors d'oeuvres along with a cash bar. The cost for this event is, as usual, an unwrapped, new toy to donate to Toys for Tots (or a $5.00 donation to Toys for Tots).

For the 21+ crowd, we head to the lower level where you will find a spectacular Around the World wine tasting event with 3 different time slots to choose from. PLUS……the opportunity to purchase your holiday wine at a huge discount. The wine tasting event (Wine Appetit) is an additional ticket purchase. Tickets for that event are being sold on the website at http://www.southshoreracemgmt.com/3rd-annual-winter-lights-5k---december-5-2014.html. Just click on the Wine Appetit logo to be brought to the registration page.
