1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Participants in the 1 mile fun run/walk will proceed through the office complex and encounter several trick-or-treat stops along the way. Halloween costumes are optional.
PLEASE NOTE: ONLY RUNNERS PARTICIPATING IN THE 5K RACE ARE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A T-SHIRT.
Proceeds
Proceeds from the 5K Trick-or-Treat Trot and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will benefit students with cognitive disabilities, autism, behavioral and mental health disorders to support therapeutic leisure activities.
Bib & T-Shirt Pick-Up for 5K
Bibs and T-Shirt Pick-Up for the 5K race will be available on Saturday, October 25th from 7:00 - 8:45am at The Guild School for Human Services. The first 300 registered participants in the 5K race will receive a T-Shirt.
PLEASE NOTE: BIBS ARE NOT NECESSARY FOR THE 1 MILE FUN RUN/WALK AS THIS IS AN UNTIMED EVENT.
Detailed Course Directions
Begin: The Guild School for Human Services, 411 Waverley Oaks Road, Suite 104 (at sign); building #1.
Head southwest through the parking lot toward the driveway.
Turn right at the end of driveway heading toward Building 3.
Take second left directly in front of Building 3.
Take a right at end of Building 3 and continue to the back of the parking lot.
Turn right, continuing around the far back of the parking lot.
Turn left behind the Waverley Oaks Athletic Club (Building 2).
At the end of Building 2, turn right and head up the driveway to the entrance of the parking lot (Waverley Oaks Rd.)
Turn left and continue straight on Waverley Oaks Road through the lights; continue straight.
Turn right on Linden St. At the end of Linden St. turn right onto Beaver Street. Stay on the right side of the road until you reach the set of lights at Waverley Oaks Rd.
Turn left and continue on Waverley Oaks Road, passing Mount Auburn Health Care and the first driveway of the 411 Waverley Oaks office park on the right.
Continue up the hill and take a right into the Waverley Oaks office park.
Take the second right to the back of Building #1. At the end of the building turn right. Turn right again in the front of the buildings running straight through the parking lot.
End at The Guild for Human Services, Suite 104.
Parking
Parking is restricted in front of the Guild School for Human Services. Please park in another area of this parking lot or behind the school building where you will find ample parking.
Awards
Awards will be given out at 9:30am for the 5K.
Awards will recognize the top 3 finishers for males and females in each category below:
Runners up to 13
14 - 19
20 - 29
30 - 39
40 - 49
50 - 59
60 - 69
70 - 99
We will also be recognizing the top male and female finishers.
