Matthew Dudgeon Memorial Fund 7K Run & Walk

I know that participating in a road race or walk is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of the race/walk officials relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effect of the weather, including high winds, hot & cold temperatures, humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being know and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers*, roller skates or inline skates, and radio headsets are not allowed in the race and I will abide by these guidelines. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, for myself, waive and release the Matthew Dudgeon Memorial Fund, It’s officers and committee members, the town of Chester, the State of New York, the Historic Chester Train Station, all sponsors their representatives and successors, including employees, from all claims of liabilities of any kind arising out f my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence of carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. In consideration of the acceptance of my entry in the Matthew Dudgeon Memorial Fund Run and Walk, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound hereby, waive and release for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, any and all rights and claims for damages, demands and any other actions whatsoever, which I may have against the Matthew Dudgeon Memorial Fund. I hereby grant full permission to all abovementioned entities, their representatives and successors, to use all information submitted in my race and walk application, any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings and any other record of this event including race results, my likeness, name and completion time for any purpose whatsoever including pre-race publicity** *baby joggers are allowed during the walk ONLY!
