Gymquest Sports Academy Team race for 5p-/Cri du Chat Syndrome
This event will be a major fundraiser for not only our Gymnastics team but for 5p- or Cri du Chat Syndrome. This is a rare illness affecting children and thus can limit their life expectancy. Taylor our guest of honor was born with the rare syndrome called Cri du Chat or 5p- syndrome. She was diagnosed at 9 days old. The doctors said that she would never walk, talk or live to be a teenager. She has proved them all wrong! She has been walking since 28 months, she talks and loves to sing, and she is 19 years old. Please join us during the race at EJ Nutter Park to help us spread awareness about this rare syndrome.
Join us for a Spaghetti Dinner the night before the race Friday, July 24 to pick up your race packet, get your T-shirt and have a fun dinner with other race participants. Dinner will include, spaghetti, garlic bread/rolls, salad, and dessert. You can choose to dine in or take the dinner with you. Children 5 and under are free for the dinner. The spaghetti dinner will be at Gymquest Sports Academy, 3820 Kemp Road, Beavercreek, OH 45431.
