About Us
The MidCoast Triathlon Club is a non profit club, based in MidCoast Maine with members from Brunswick to Quebec to California. Membership and renewal fees are $25 for a 1-year membership Oct - Sept.
All levels of ability are welcome, whether you're considering your first triathlon, your first Ironman or just want some friends to train with! Join us for group runs, spins, bikes, swims, training sessions and our EPIC training camp in Mont Tremblant. We also offer buckets of support, social networking and real time events. Club members also enjoy discounts at the Maine Running Company, Cyclemania, Gorham Bike & Ski, Bath Cycle & Ski, Freeman's Bicycle Service, Boulder Nordic Sport and ATS. All club members receive a club Technical T shirt (or hat this year) and the ability to buy team gear. We also hold several club functions that are usually FREE to club members (Summer Kick Off & Fall Wrap Up Parties!). We also offer FREE Pool Time at Bowdoin thru the winter months for MTC Club Members.
Please save the date - Sat 23 April 2016 to Volunteer at our Race The Runways 1 mi - 5k & Half Marathon event. We ask ALL Members to help for a few hours.
Registration & Membership information is secure & confidential. We do not share with marketers. A list of current members - names only - is posted on the club website.
Waiver
By indicating your acceptance, you understand, agree, warrant and covenant as follows:
I know that swimming, biking, running and volunteering in club training events and races are potentially hazardous activities. I should not enter and participate in club activities unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with club activities and volunteering to work in club training sessions or race including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, in consideration of my application for membership, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Midcoast Triathlon Club and its officers and agents, all sponsors, their representatives and successors, of all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in these club activities even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
