About Glow Run Jackson 5K
The 4th Annual Glow Run Jackson 5K is an event ran by the Fitness Council of Jackson. It benefits our Girl Quest Boy Quest program, an after school running program in which youth in grades 3-7 learn healthy living habits while training for a 5K run. This event is their culminating event! We dress up in crazy glow wear so we can glow our way through this night run. This is the only event of this kind in Jackson and over the years has become very popular with runners and walkers alike. Join us for this brisk and beautiful night in, in crisp fall weather.
Early Check-In and T-shirt Pickup
Check-in early and pick up your t-shirt on Friday, November 6th from 4:30-7:00 pm. Visit us at P & T Fitness, 225 N. Jackson St. Jackson, MI 49201.
About the Course
The Glow Run Jackson 5K runs through our beautiful Ella Sharp Park. We try our best to light the course, while still maintaining our glow, but be aware that the course will be somewhat dark. It is on a closed off road and will have several volunteers standing along to ensure safety of runners.
Parking Information
Parking is available just a short walk away at Middle School at Parkside, 2400 Fourth Street.
T-Shirts
Glow Run Jackson 5K t-shirts will be guaranteed to those early registering. If you register after October 23rd until race day, you may not get a t-shirt or get the size you request.
Extra Fee For Online Registration
Racewire charges a small fee for online registration services. This small fee is going to allow us to get some sweet custom bibs for this event and also provide you with a photographer who will provide you with your race pictures free!
Refunds
The current policy from Fitness Council of Jackson is that no refunds will be issued. We really appreciate you donating to our cause of getting kids more active.
Online Registration Closing
Online registration will close at 12 noon on Friday, November 6th, so we may complete our final registration roster to prepare for event day. You may still register up until the event begins on event day. Come see us at registration between 5:30 and 6:45 pm on Saturday, November 7th.
