Location & Post Race Celebration
Start & Finish at the Dockside in Chelsea Market Basket Plaza. Post-event Celebration sponsored by Dockside Restaurant and Bar Chelsea, includes lunch and 2 drink tix for all registered runners. Walkers will begin at 9:45am and need to register for 5K Walk
Parking & Directions
The race start and finish are outside of the Dockside in Chelsea, located at 177 Everett Avenue. Please make every effort not to block the race area; you are allowed to park anywhere else in the Market Basket Plaza.
Walkers
Walkers are welcome! Walkers will start at 9:45am (Runners at 10am). Please be aware that the race roads will only be closed until approx. 10:45 a.m., at which time we encourage all walkers to continue with the race on or near the sidewalk. Volunteers will still be on the course to direct you at busy intersections and turns, but we are racing through a very hectic area of Chelsea, so please stay aware and safe at all times. About the Chelsea Chase 5k
The Chelsea Chase 5K supports two great causes: The Boys & Girls Club AND the Chelsea Police Relief Association. The mission of the Jordan Boys & Girls Club is to help young people, ages 6-18, especially those who need us most, build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders. This event supports programs for the 300 Club members who attend every day, participating in activities that help build values, skills, knowledge, and community. This event not only focuses on overall health of our Club members, but also giving back to the community through our strong relationship with the Chelsea Police Department.

The Chelsea Police Relief Association’s mission is to provide death benefits to families of officers; since CPRA began, the City of Chelsea has lost six officers. This event takes place of calls for support that took place in the past to support this very worthy cause. Come on out to support Chelsea's finest!
Number Pick Up
On Friday, May 6th, the day before the race, you can pick up your number (and shirt if registered by April 25th) at the Jordan Boys & Girls Club, 30 Willow Street in Chelsea from 9am-8pm. On the morning of the race, you can pick up your number at the registration table starting at 8am, which will be located at the Dockside in Chelsea.
T-Shirts
All runners and walkers who register by May 5th will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Sign up today!
Awards
Top three in all age categories will receive a certificate and small gift for their efforts and success. Age categories include 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & up for men and women. Also special awards for first Chelsea resident to finish, first Boys & Girls Club member, alum, and staff, and other special awards.
