EVENT
This USATF sanctioned event will be chip-timed by RaceWire, offering a challenging course for the novice to the elite runner. Taking off from Hayden lower field, both runners and walkers will enjoy a scenic run through the local community.
This event is great for both adults and kids. You can choose to run or walk either the 5K or the 1.5 mile. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. You do not need to register children in strollers.
T-Shirts
T-Shirts will be given to the first 200 adult registrants who register before 9/20/2016. All children registering prior to 9/20/2016 will be guaranteed a t-shirt. T-shirts will be tech-fabric (polyester moisture wicking) and won't shrink. Each Hastings student will get a T-shirt color based on their 2016-17 grade.
AWARDS
Top male/female finishers will receive prizes TBA (only one prize per person)

Top male/female age group finishers will receive awards (top male/female finishers only receive one award/prize). In addition, top male/female Hastings students from each grade (K-5) will receive awards.
Post Race Party
This Post Race Party has made a name for itself around town.

We have a DJ, Kids' games (face painting/tattooing/bounce house), and food from local vendors, including Whiskeys Steakhouse.
Race bib/T-shirt/runners bags pick up
Bibs, T-shirts and runners bags will be available for pick the day before the race, Saturday, October 2, 2016 from 11 AM - 1 PM at Hastings School as well as the morning of the race from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Lower Hayden field.

I know that running is potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained.
