About this event
This is the 5th annual Bunny Hop 5K/1K Fun Run event. The proceeds from this event go to support the activities of the East Greenwich Track Club. This includes a free summer track series at East Greenwich High School on Wednesday evenings in July for 4 - 14 year olds. The race also supports a year round running program for middle school students going to Junior Olympics. We also support high school runners going to post-season regional and national meets. We hope to provide scholarships for high school runners who plan to compete in cross country, track or field at the college level.
The course
The 5 K course is certified and sanctioned by the USATF
Awards
5 K Road Race:
Top male & female overall
Top two male & female finishers in each age division (10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+)
Top finisher in wheelchair division
Top team (based on fastest time of top 3 runners). Teams must be pre-registered.

1Mile Fun Run:
Top boy and girl
Ribbons to all participants
T Shirts
The first 300 pre-registered runners are guaranteed a shirt!
Registration and Number Pickup
Registration will be held at the Carousel at Goddard Park starting at 8:00 AM that morning. On site registration is available. The 1 mile fun run for children will start at 9 AM . There will be a Easter Egg Hunt for little children at 9:30 AM. The 5 K run will start at 10 PM at the Carousel.
