5K Run or Walk
The course is a loop on paved non-vehicular roads. The entire course is through the woods, and passes meadows and WWII ammunition bunkers. Volunteers will be placed at intersections to help participants stay on track. Because of safty concerns, the course is slightly shorter than a true 5K.

* If a student wins m/f overall, (s)he needs to select a prize. The set of tix not selected goes to the next male/female finisher.
Youth One-Mile Race
The One-Mile race is open to all kids up to and including eighth grade. It will look and feel just like the 5K- kids will have race numbers and t-shirts, and will run on a similar course. Volunteers will line the course. The race will be timed so that the finishers can look at the big race clock at the finish line, but the individual times will not be published. Gift certificates will be awarded to the top boy and girl finishers in the 10-years-old-and-older, and the under-10-year-old categories.
Raffles
We will draw winners by bib number after the 5K:
1. A three-month family membership to the Hanover/Quincy YMCA
2. A heavy-duty Adirondack chair from Chapin's Wood Products in Whitman.
3. A one-month membership to the Weymouth Club.
On 11/12 at 6pm we will draw a kid's name (14 or under) for a new kid's bike from all registered kids.

Kids' Dash
The Kids' Dash is a lot of fun. While designed for kids not ready for the One--Mile, parents and older siblings are welcome to join. Volunteers line the paved 150 meter loop at the Visitors' Center. Registration is encouraged but not needed. Registrants receive a race bag and race number just like the adults. You can choose to register your child either in the free category (gets bag and number) or in the $15 t-shirt category (also gets a t-shirt like everyone else). All kids get a "golden" (plastic) finisher medal and lots of cheers.
Dog Jog
All friendly dogs are welcome as long as they stay on a leash shorter than 6' at all times (park rules). The first dog to cross the 5K finish line gets glory and a gift basket with a gift certificate. All good dogs get a special treat.
Group Rates
Families (same household) can register for a flat rate of $70. Trainers and Coaches please send an email to sfxroadrace@gmail.com to discuss discounts for your teams.
Family Activities
The race is a fun place to hang out before and after. We will have a DJ, bouncy house, face painting, lawn games, and other activities TBD. The Wompatuck Visitor's Center has a large indoor space in case of rain.
Free on-site P.T.
Bay State Physical Therapy will offer stretching, kinesiotaping, graston massage, A-line assessments, and injury screenings.
T-shirts and other goodies
If you register by Monday 10/31 you are guaranteed a free long-sleeve t-shirt in your race bag. There will be a few other small fun items in there as well.
Bag Pickups
Bag pickup is either at Marathon Sports in Norwell from 1-3 the day before the race (Sat. 11/12), or at the race from 7:30 - 8:45.
Day-of registration
You can register at Wompatuck starting at 7:30 on the day (Sunday) of the race. We will keep registration open until just before the 9am 5K start. Please note the Youth One-mile starts at 8:30. Cash and checks only please.
