About the Race
Crowning the Waterville Plateau, the small community of Waterville is surrounded by large expanses of wheat fields and a spectacular view of the majestic Cascade Mountain Range. Founded in 1885 and incorporated in 1889 by the Territorial Charter, it holds the long-standing claim as the highest incorporated town in Washington State with an elevation of 2,625 feet above sea level.
Come Join us and test your lung capacity with our inaugural “Thin Air 5k” The race is just one small part of the Waterville Days Festival activities.
All proceeds will benefit the the Waterville Main Street Association and the Waterville Shocker Track program. Thank you for your support! 100% of all profits go to local non-profit organizations!
Race Packet Pickup
Race number and t-shirt pickup will be available on the Friday night before the event during the Fire Department Dinner in the Pioneer Park as well as before the race on Saturday Morning from 7AM until the start of the race.

Say no to Square T-shirts that you only wear working in the yard on Saturdays! High Quality Fitted Next Level Brand T-shirts will be provided! The Tshirt order will be place on June 28th. After the 28th we can not guarantee a shirt or correct sizing.
