The event director has closed online registration for this event. LATE REGISTRATION will be available in person on Saturday, September 17, 2016 during Mandatory T-shirt/Bib PickUp at Torrance Road Runner Sports (25359 Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance, CA 90505) at 12pm-7pm OR on Event Day September 18, 2016 before the race at 0630-0730. Race will start promptly at 0800.

About This Event
Enjoy a great morning of running or walking at the beach!!!

This 4th Annual 5K is a perfect course for a summer run or walk in September. Participants will be running and walking on the service road and travel along the beach service road finishing in the beach parking lot at the event expo.

This year, we decided to add 8K to help celebrate Evelyn's 8 years cancerversary. Evelyn is a breast cancer survivor and the founder of Evelyn's BFF (501 (c) (3) non-profit public charity foundation. She is also the creator of this event.

So let's help her and other breast cancer survivors and their families spread awareness in breast cancer reconstruction to the community by encouraging men and women to run and walk in their BRA (Breast Reconstruction Awareness) in honor and in memory of those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Awards will be given to "Best Decorated Bra" in town - - so jazz up your bra ( sports bra, lacy bra, any bra) and get sassy!! Guys, we aren't excluding you on this one either. For example, you may decorate a shirt with a bra on it - - or wear a bra over your shirt - - Be Creative and FUNNN!!!!

BASIC RACE INFO:
START TIME: 5K and 8K at 0800 AM; 1K Kids Run at 0930
5K-- Early Registration $35 (until 9/15/16) ; Late Registration $40
8K-- Early Registration $40 (until 9/15/16) ; Late Registration $45
Driving Directions & Parking Information
From #405 Freeway, go West on the #105 freeway towards El Segundo. Follow the #105 West as it connects you onto the Imperial Highway. Follow the imperial Highway to its very end at the beach and race parking. Watch for race parking signs.
Bring cash ($5 - $10 per car) as the Beach parking fees apply.

Registration Fees will increase $5 to 5K and 8K RunWalk.

Finishing medals will be given to ALL participants.
