About This Event
This race benefits and is sponsored by the Saint Margaret Regional School, a Catholic PreK-8th grade school in Buzzards Bay, MA. We began as a small family race in 2015, and since then have pulled out all the stops to make this a premier running event in Southeastern Massachusetts! This event is welcoming to runners of all ability levels. We welcome preschool age children for the Kids Mile, all the way up to elite 10K runners training and seeking qualifying times for larger regional and national races! Our certified race courses plus super-accurate chip timing mean that you can have trust and confidence in this race whatever your goals might be! Our finish festival features fun activities for runners and families alike. Take a drive down to the Cape and see what we have to offer!

This year we are featuring electronic RFID Chip Timing by Racewire!
Race Course
All courses are certified by the USATF!

The 10K Course features a short bus ride to the Scusset Beach State Park. The starting line is on the canal service road adjacent to the ranger station (restrooms!) Runners will proceed down the canal, past the Herring Run, Seagull Plateau, and the Scenic Park, and on to the finish line at the railroad bridge!

The 5K Course also features a bus ride to the Bourne Scenic Park Campground, where runners will enjoy a linear point-to-point run along the Cape Cod Canal.

The Kids Mile starts and finishes at the railroad bridge.
Prizes
Prizes are given for the male and female Top 3 Finishers in each competition. Specifically: 10K Open, Adult 5K, Student 5K, Kids\' Mile. Results may be further broken down into age groups for informational purposes only. The top 3 boys and top 3 girls in the Kids\' Mile and Student 5K will receive medals and gift certificates to Perry\'s Last Stand. The top 3 men and top 3 women in the 10K and Adult 5K will also receive medals and gift certificates to places such as Marathon Sports and Eastern Mountain Sports.
Random Drawings
There will be random prize drawings (\"door prizes\") throughout the day in addition to the prizes for top finishers. All registered participants are eligible to receive these prizes!
About the Fun Walk
This price is PER PERSON! Paid walkers receive a goodie bag, water bottle, and are entered into our prize drawings. There is a family maximum of $50 for multiple persons who live together and wish to walk as a team. There will be one goodie bag per team, but each team member will receive a water bottle and be entered into the drawings.

Race management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to events out of management\'s control such as severe weather, natural disasters, acts of God, or other emergencies. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. Management may also alter the course and distances for the safety of the athletes at their discretion. I understand that the entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Furthermore, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use my likeness in all media including photographs, pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
