About the Race
A 10K Fun Run and 5K Run/Walk kicks off the day of family fun at the Raspberry Festival. Beginning at 8 a.m. in front of the Historical Museum at St. Gertrude, the course follows an out-and-back route on a quiet, paved country road. The stretch offers views of the Seven Devils mountains, Salmon River breaks, Gospel-Hump Wilderness Area and the Camas Prairie, making the Raspberry Festival Fun Run one of the most scenic running/walking events in Idaho.
The Course
The course begins at the Museum and follows a scenic, out-and-back paved road with stunning views of the Seven Devils Mountains, Camas Prairie, the Gospel Hump and Buffalo Hump Wilderness areas. It has an incline over the first 1.75 miles (a rise in elevation of 200 feet), then levels off. The course is marked with 5-K and 10-K turnarounds. The 10-K turnaround is at the historical Holy Cross Church in Keuterville, Idaho. Water stations are located at the 5-K and 10-K turnarounds.
