RAIN OR SHINE REMINDER
This is a seven race series. The event date varies for each race. Please be sure to double check the individual race information. NO REFUNDS ARE POSSIBLE. Please note that these are rain or shine events.
FINISH LINE FUN
Enjoy great food, music, and the fellowship of the running community while the race results are tabulated. The computerized scoring system provides prompt and accurate results. Following each race, results will be available on line (RaceWire.com). In addition, there will also be a timing mat at the start so that runners will see both their "gun times"and their "chip times". Text or email messages will be sent to each finisher with individual finish results (when information provided). Raffles and special events are planned for the various races. IF THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THE RACE YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN IS ALREADY CLOSED, YOU CAN STILL REGISTER ON RACE DAY.
AWARDS
Awards will be given out immediately following each race. One overall male and female winner and one male and female age-graded master winner. Awards for the first 3 runners in each age group, male and female. The age groups begin with 8 and under, 9-11, 12-14 and then in 5- year increments starting with 15-19 and ending with over 80.
A large digital clock will display finishing times for the 5K races and the fun runs.

$25 Before midnight 7 days before the 5K race
$35 Within 7 days before the 5K race

$150 All seven 5K races – before midnight, March 15th

Family discount -- Before midnight 7 days before 5k race. $25 for first 2 family members, $15 for each additional family member. Pre-registration only.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Bucks 5K Series is a non-profit organization that facilitates and coordinates seven 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) road races, all USTAF certified, in Bucks county, PA. These races attract the fastest runners in the region, as well as entire families and first-time participants. Each of the races, all in the spring, take place on various scenic roads of central Bucks County and benefit local worthy causes. They feature a accurate and efficient timing for scoring and post race festivities for all runners to enjoy.
REGISTER FOR ALL SEVEN 5K RACES
Register for all seven 5K races up to March 14th, 2017 and receive the $150 discounted price, plus a moisture wicking Bucks 5K Series long sleeve T-shirt. There are two styles, one for male and one for female. The Bucks 5k Series shirt is in addition to the individual race shirts.
Runners who register for all seven 5K races will be assigned the same (red) bib number for all seven races. Retaining your bib will allow you to bypass registration and to go directly to the starting line.
RACE TEE SHIRTS
Pre-registered runners will receive unique race tee shirt from each of the seven series races they participate in. For race day registrations, availability will be on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.
THE COURSES
All of our beautiful 5K courses have been officially certified by the USA Track and Field Association. The miles are accurately measured, clearly marked and include mile split times. Marshals ensure safety over the courses, with street closings where necessary. Water stations and emergency personnel are a regular part of the races. Age group course records are now posted for each race on www.bucks5kseries.com. Dogs are not allowed on the course at any time. Strollers are allowed but must start the race at the back.
RACE RESULTS
The Series will be using the DISPOSABLE BIB CHIP TIMING. Professional finish line management provided by RaceWire. Awards ceremonies begin shortly after the finish of each race. Results will be online that evening at both www.bucks5kseries.com and www.racewire.com. After the first four races, Series standings will be on the www.bucks5kseries.com website. Series Awards will be given following the Chalfont Challenge.

In consideration of this entry and for participation in this race or walk, I knowingly and voluntarily waive and release all claims for damages, injuries or losses against any race officials and organizations conducting this event, including but not limited to , individually and collectively, all event officials, volunteers, rescue and support personnel and municipalities and their heirs and assigns. Should I be injured in any way as a result of this event, I will be solely responsible for all expenses attributable. I understand that walking and running a race is a potentially hazardous activity and I specifically assume all risks associated with this event, including all pre and post race activities. The risks include, but are not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, traffic and course conditions. I shall take cognizance of all weather and course conditions that exist as of race time and of the additional risk, if any, to my personal safety that is present as result of their existence. All such risks are fully known and appreciated by me. I verify that I am medically able and properly trained to complete this event and will abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the race. I hereby grant permission to the organizers of the walk /run and their authorized agents to use my name, photographs, videotapes or motion pictures in connection with this event, including any other record of my participation for advertising or publicity purposes. I understand and agree that this waiver shall apply to my participation in any or all of the following races and their Fun Runs during the 2017 calendar year: Plumsteadville Blaze of Glory 5K, Y Run Central Bucks Family YMCA 5K, BCRR Break-Fast 5K, Cornerstone 5K, Sertoma/Bucks County IU #22 Run Walk and Roll 5K, Doylestown 5K , Chalfont Challenge and Delaware Valley University.
