About This Event
This is the first annual 5k run/walk fundraiser for the Sean K. Paradis (SKP) Memorial to establish an educational scholarship for a local, Pelham, NH student. SKP was a well known Pelham High School student graduate who excelled in academics, athletics and social activities. He then went to Wentworth where he became a staple on the mens lacrosse team and an exceptional architecture student. This fundraiser will be to establish a scholarship to continue his incredible spirit and drive in a similar student athlete.
T-Shirts
Unfortunately we are past the tee shirt order date. Tee shirts were included for those who registered before May 4th. We did order additional tee-shirts that will be available for sale for $15 the day of the race.
Number & Tee-Shirt Pick Up
You can get your bib and tee-shirt prior to the start of the race anytime after 9am. Volunteers will be there and ready to pass along to you your bib and tee-shirt. If for some reason you can't make it to the race but still want your tee shirt, please contact Kate Biedron at kbiedron@hotmail.com and she will get it to you.
Parking
Parking is available at the Memorial School, Elementary School and Senior Center and you can park on the road. You are also allowed to park on the road.

Please do not park at St. Patrick's Church. St. Patrick's is having first communion at 10:00am the same day.
Awards
There will be a $50 award to the first place male and female runner!! Woo hoo! Good luck!!
Post Race Party
We will all be gathering after the race at:
The Boathouse

If there are some that don't want to participate in the race, please feel free to extend an invite to the post race party at the Boathouse!
Volunteering
Not into running or walking... that's ok! We also need volunteers to make the race happen! If you would like to volunteer please contact Kate Biedron at kbiedron@hotmail.com. We will need help with passing out tee-shirts, passing out water along the race and cheering on people at the start and the finish line.
Weather
This event is rain or shine. Fingers crossed for good weather.

I understand that no refunds will be given for any reason, including but not limited to weather. I know that running [volunteering for] a road race is potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the race and agree to abide by them. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including but no limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, and roller skates or roller blades, and animals are not allowed in the race and I will abide by all race rules. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and inconsideration of your accepting my entry, I agree to release from all liability, discharge and promise not to take legal action against: (i) Sean K. Paradis 5K Run/Walk, Sean K. Paradis Scholarship Foundation, Town of Pelham, NH, Pehlam, NH and its affiliated organizations which provide employees, goods or services in connection with the Sean K. Paradis 5K Run/Walk, and the director Katelyn Biedron, representatives, volunteers or agents , (ii) any guest, visitor or other person present or participating in the Sean K. Paradis 5K Run/Walk; (iii) any sponsor of the Sean K. Paradis 5K Run/Walk, their directors, owners, employees, representatives, volunteers or agents; or (iv) any applicable governmental entities, their directors, employees, representatives, volunteers or agents. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. BY INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEEMENT AND WAIVER, YOU ARE AFFIRMING THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT AND WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.
