Event Description
The 5k race will begin on the Everwood Day Camp main sports fields and loop into and around the trails on the Camp’s 70 acre wooded campus.
Proceeds of the event will be used to fund the American Camp Association (ACA) Scholarship fund designated for Everwood Day Camp. This will allow children who otherwise would not be able to afford the camp experience to enjoy an exciting summer camp adventure at Everwood Day Camp!
This is a rain or shine event. No refunds given.
Parking
Parking for this event is available in the Gannett Field Lot, just past the Everwood Day Camp main campus on the left side of Lakeview Street.

Register early and receive a wick-away t-shirt! Each finisher will receive a medal.
Number Pick-up and Race Day Schedule
Walk up registration/Bib pick-up: 8:15 am-8:45 am
Registration closes: 8:45 am
National Anthem & Flag Raising: 8:50 am
Race Start Time: 9:00 am (There will be staggered starts, based on participants’ estimated pace per mile.)
Finish Time: 10:00 am (While we welcome all abilities and in consideration of all runners, we cannot guarantee course support for those finishing beyond 10:00 am or a finishing time of 1 hour).
Water Station

I know that running or volunteering for an off-road/trail race is potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I understand that the trails may include potential hazards such as tree roots, uneven ground, branches, rocks and leaves. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in the event, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity or cold/rain, and the conditions of the trail, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or roller-blades, and animals, are not allowed in the race. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, waive and release Everwood Day Camp, any and all sponsors, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liability for death, personal injury, or property damage of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of, or in the course of, my participating in this event whether same be caused by negligence or fault. This release and waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown. The undersigned further grants full permission to sponsors and or agents authorized by them to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. Minors accepted only with a parent or guardian's signature.
