Event Overview
Enjoy a "spooktacular" morning on Sunday, October 29, 2017 with some of Needham's finest ghosts, ghouls, witches, superheroes, princesses and just about anything in between!!! Costumes are optional, but strongly encouraged!

NOTE: If you register online BEFORE 5 pm on Friday, October 29, 2017, you are eligible for early bib pick-up on Saturday, 10/28 between 9-11 am at Koko Fitness Club (850 Highland Ave) - better selection of shirt sizes the earlier you come!

Fun Run:

The Fun Run will start at 8:30 a.m. and is meant for children ages 12 years and under. All registered Fun Run participants will receive a prize.

5K Run/Walk:

The 5K is a chip-timed event and will start at 9 a.m. It is a run/walk that is meant for people of all ages and abilities. We welcome anyone to join us. There will be prizes for overall top 3 female and top 3 male runners. There will be medals for top 6 runners (3 female, 3 male) in each of the following age groups (<13, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+). Finally, we will also be giving out awards for best costumes - so be sure to be creative!

Never run a 5K before, but want to give it a try? The Needham Running Club has generously partnered with us to develop a 6-week Couch-to-5K (C25K) program for those that want to give this a try! No matter what way you choose to approach this 5K, just remember to have fun!

Online registration will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017.

Race-day registration & Bib pick-up opens at 7:00 a.m.

Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m. 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:00 a.m. 5K prizes will be awarded starting at 9:30 a.m. Costume prizes will be awarded starting at 9:45 a.m.

Where: Hillside Elementary School, 28 Glen Gary Rd, Needham, MA

Parking: Hillside parking lot, side streets

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Hillside Elementary School in Needham, MA.

I know and understand that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run/walk this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. The undersigned further grants full permission to Hillside Elementary School Parent Teacher Council Trust, and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, motion picture, recording or any other record of this event for any purpose.
