"Be a Trooper and Run for Cooper"
Please join us for the Third Annual Coop's Troop 5K on Sunday, July 15th at Bare Cove Park in Hingham, MA. The one mile fun run will begin at 8:30am and the 5K will begin at 9:15am. All proceeds will benefit the Coop's Troop Foundation, Inc.
In the one mile fun run, medals will be awarded to the top boy and girl finishers.
In the 5K, the top 3 overall runners in the male and female categories will receive a Marathon Sports Gift Certificate. Also, medals will be awarded to the top three male and female runners in the following age categories:
- 18 and under
- 19-34
- 35-49
- 50+
About Coop's Troop Foundation, Inc.
Coop’s Troop Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), non profit charitable organization that was founded to honor Cooper’s short but impactful life and legacy.
Cooper Matthew Richards is a brave, three year old boy who passed away on January 19, 2017 after a courageous battle with a rare disease called GM-1 Gangliosidosis. Following his passing, the Richards Family took on the mantra of “Doing Cooper Work.” Doing Cooper Work is doing small things that make a big impact in the lives of courageous children and their families. Through the Coop’s Troop Foundation, Inc., they carry forward this work and mantra by helping children with life limiting diseases and special needs lead a quality and happy life.

Event T-shirts
Register by June 25th to receive a race t-shirt with your event registration. T-shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis on the day of the event along with some other great Coop's Troop merchandise.
Raffle Tickets
$20 for 25 tickets!
Awesome raffle prizes for this year's race will be announced soon, but last year we had over 40 raffles including:
- Summer Fun Basket
- Celtics and Bruins tickets
- Dinner on Us Basket
- Lottery Basket
Tickets can be picked up on Saturday, July 14 at Marathon Sports in Norwell between 10AM and 2PM or on Sunday, July 15 at Bare Cove Park.
Bib Pick Up
Marathon Sports in Norwell will host our bib pick up on Saturday, July 14 from 10AM - 2PM. If you pick up your race bag on July 14, you will receive a coupon for 20% off anything in the store!

Directions/Parking
Bare Cove Park is located at the end of Bare Cove Park Drive in Hingham, MA across from the Hingham Commuter Rail. If your GPS does not have Bare Cove Park Drive, the best address for the race entrance is 19 Fort Hill Street, Hingham, MA. Turn onto Bare Cove Park Drive and continue straight until you reach the entrance of Bare Cove Park. There will be parking volunteers directing you where to go from there.
