Event Information
The Courses
The Half Marathon and 5K courses are both USATF certified. They are fast, well marked and lead runners through the scenic back roads of Wilmington.

Both races start and finish at 10 Waltham Street. Portable Restrooms are available at the race site and also one along the course in front of the Woburn Street School.

Along the courses are mile markers, water stops, and volunteers providing motivation and holding directional signage.

Most roads will be open to vehicles, however, police detail and orange cones are placed in high traffic areas to ensure safety for all.
Directions & Parking
Both races start and finish at 10 Waltham Street, Wilmington, MA 01887.

Free parking is available at and around the race site. Parking attendants will be available to direct you.
Number Pick-Up
Half Marathon and 5K Runners can pick up their Bib number on Saturday, September 22nd from 8 am - 10 am at the race site (10 Waltham St.). OR, Runners can pick up on race day beginning at 8 am. Walkers are not timed therefore do not receive a Bib number.
About This Event
Wilmington's 14th Annual Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk is a professional, well organized race at a LOW cost in a GREAT community. This popular event attracts over 500 athletes from many surrounding communities, schools and running clubs. Pick your race, the Half or 5K or choose to walk the 5K ... we have a course for all levels!

Post Race festivities include: Music, Hot Dogs, Fruit, Granola Bars, Ice Cream, Chamber Member Booths with Raffles and Give-Aways.

A portion of race proceeds are reinvested back into the community via various Community Donations as well as scholarships to graduating Wilmington & Tewksbury Seniors including a scholarship in memory of the late "Kelli Agati Murray" and scholarships in partnership with our Race Premier Sponsors.
Post Race Party
Stop by Red Heat Tavern, 300 Lowell Street, Wilmington after the race for celebratory drinks, apps, and/or dinner. Show your race bib and receive 1/2 off appetizers (offer good 9/23 only).

Free Race Drawstring Cinch Sack
Lightweight and durable, our race drawstring cinch sack is ideal for carrying essentials to a race, work, school, and more. Cinch sacks will be given to the first 500 pre-registrants.
