ABOUT THE IRISH FOR A DAY RUN/WALK:
Join us for our first Irish For Day A Day 5K Run/Walk, the first of our 2019 Upland Trifecta Challenge! Irish For A Day is a family-friendly event, open to runners, walkers, and those in strollers, of all ages and abilities. This is the perfect family-friendly way to support the children in our community and kick off the St. Patrick’s Day weekend! Come for the race and stay for the festivities in Historic Downtown Upland. Local restaurants and eateries will participate in today’s festivities by offering special discounts and samples from their menus. A souvenir glass, with a coupon for a free beer from Rescue Brewery is included for all participants 21 years and older. A souvenir cup, with a coupon for a free root beer is included for our 1K participants and those under the age of 21.
IRISH FOR A DAY 5K RUN/WALK ROUTE:
Start/Finish at the Cooper Museum located at 217 East "A" Street, Upland. The information booth, on-site registration tables, and bib pick-up will take place at the Cooper Museum patio beginning at 8:00 a.m.

*Run! “Early Bird” Registration with T-shirt, through Friday, February 8th: $30
*Late Registration/Morning of Event: $35
*T-shirt and medal included for all registrations through Monday, March 4th.
*Guaranteed T-shirts sizes available through Wednesday, February 27th.
*Registration required for those 8 years & older.

1K KIDDY RUN/WALK (For those 4-12 years of age.):
*Run! “Early Bird” Registration with T-shirt through Friday, February 8th: $20
*Late Registration/Morning of Event: $25
*T-shirt and medal included for all registrations through Monday, March 4th.
*Registration required for all participants.

*5K Fun Run/Walk Start: 10:30 a.m. SHARP

1K KIDDY RUN/WALK:

*1K Fun Run/Walk Start: 10:00 a.m. SHARP
AWARDS CEREMONY:
*Prizes Will Be Awarded To Overall Finisher - Male & Female
*Medals Will Be Given To All Participants
*Medals Will Be Given To The 1st Place Finishers In Each Age Category Of The 5K Fun Run/Walk.

**The Awards Ceremony will take place at the Sweet Obsessions outdoor patio following the 5K Run/Walk.
TEAM REGISTRATION:
Teams of 10 or more are a fun way to participate! Get together with friends, family members, co-workers, or sports teams, and enjoy a discount of $5 per person through, Friday, February 8th. Please note: To receive the team discount, all registration must be completed at the same time.
T-SHIRT & BIB EARLY PICK UP:
Visit the Upland City Yard located at 1370 N. Benson Avenue, Upland on Thursday, March 14th between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
REFUND POLICY:
*All Entry Fees Are Non-Refundable.
*The Entry Fee For This Year's Event Will Not Transfer To Next Year's Event.

This is intended to release and hold harmless the City of Upland and its elected officials, officers, employees, contractors and agents. I understand that I must be in good health prior to participating in the activity. I understand that serious accidents occasionally occur to participants during such an activity, transportation to or from such an activity, and during activities incidental to such an activity. Knowing these risks, I expressly assume those risks and agree that under no circumstances will I nor any of my heirs or successors present any claim or action against the City of Upland. I do hereby give permission for any certified emergency professional or health care professional to administer any type of medical treatment deemed necessary to the participants listed above in case of an emergency and in the event that I cannot be contacted. I have read the foregoing and acknowledge that I am giving up important rights by signing this agreement. Photo Release: I give permission to the City of Upland and RaceWire to photograph myself &/or any of the participants listed above for use in any future City publication at any time, for as long as the City of Upland possesses the photograph, and I acknowledge that neither myself nor any participants listed above will receive any compensation for such use.
