About the Race
We are so excited to welcome back our 12th Annual South Boston Catholic Academy Road Race on Saturday December 4th 2021! The race and post race activities may look a little different this year and we are working hard to continue to follow the city of Boston and cdc protocols. We will do our best to ensure you have a great run. We have two youth races to start us off followed by a 5 km course along scenic South Boston beaches. Certified and sanctioned by USA Track and Field – New England.
After the race there will be refreshments, food and entertainment to go along with the awards, raffles and entertainment.
Registration is open and a classic South Boston Catholic Academy long-sleeve t-shirt will be given to all registered runners!

9:30 a.m. – ½ Mile Race (14 years and under)

Fast and flat 5 km along scenic Castle Island and beaches of Day Boulevard.
Number Pick-Up
Race Numbers Will be Available for EARLY PICK-UP on

for anyone who would like to have their number in hand prior to race day.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Numbers will still be available on Saturday in the SBCA gymnasium as in years past. We just wanted to have an additional option this year.
Parking
Parking is available along the adjacent streets and beach area, which is within 2-3 blocks of South Boston Catholic Academy. Resident parking is NOT in effect on Saturdays.

Refunds
We appreciate and understand that unexpected circumstances present themselves constantly. However, if you have registered for the race and are unable to attend, we kindly request that your race fee be considered a donation to our school, as this event is one of our most critical fundraisers of the year, and our success is extremely reliant upon the number of registered runners. Thank you so much for considering your race fee a donation to the school in your absence. As always, we are so grateful for your support!
