Please help me raise money for Melanie's Army! I have known this family since kindergarten!
April of 2013, Melanie was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. Melanie's Army formed the moment she broke the news to her twin sister. As friends and family heard the news the army quickly grew and today is made up of friends, family, co-workers, and acquaintances. The team is open to anyone that wants to join in raising awareness on how women are impacted by breast cancer and what it means to have advanced (metastatic) disease. We are raising money for Step Sisters, an amazing organization in Melanie's community that helps women currently in treatment with meals, transportation, childcare, and so much more. Melanie doesn't need these services but it is a comfort to know they are out there!
