About Canal Run for the Troops
Cape Cod Cares for the Troops is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer organization that sends care packages to our deployed troops, supports our Blue Star Families, supports our veterans and wounded men & women and honors our Fallen Heroes and their Gold Star Families. The Canal Run for the Troops 5K & 10K on October 4th will help support these programs and pay the postage to send 1500 Christmas Care Packages to our deployed troops. CCC4TT has sent over 18,000 care packages in the last ten years. Last year CCC4TT adopted 41 wounded soldiers and their families at Christmas time providing Christmas gifts for their children and hosting a Christmas Party for Fort Belvoir's Wounded Warrior Battalion. Donations made will also be used to help with this years Christmas Program.
