About The Battle of Bunker Hill Road Race
The Charlestown Boys & Girls Club opened in 1893 as the Bunker Hill Boys Club. Renovated in 1999 and 2003, The Charlestown Boys & Girls Club provides after-school care and a safe place for young people ages 6-18. Members may take part in a wide range of activities, some of which include: art, computer graphics, dance, tutoring, swimming, music. The Club has more than 1,100 members with nearly 50% coming from households earning less than $27,000.
