Pam Manikas Washek was the founder of Neighbor Brigade, a non-profit organization where I am currently the executive director. When I meet with our volunteers they often tell me that they are still part of Neighbor Brigade today because of Pam and when they most needed help, there was a wonderful group of volunteers in their town to support them and help them through their crisis. I love how the organization brings people together, how I can get my children involved in the volunteer activities, how it makes you thankful for what you have, and how good it makes you feel to help others!
