This is my first 5K and I'm thrilled to be taking it on with my brave pup, Apollo! Apollo is a purebred rough collie that we adopted from a collie breeder. This was a very tough decision for my partner and I to make when compared with adopting a dog in need of a loving home from an animal shelter. As our first dog together, it ended up being the right decision for us but we want to do our part in other ways to support animal shelters for all the amazing work they do. Please help us achieve our goal by donating to HART, the no-kill animal rescue and support group. Every little bit helps!
