Hi everyone!

Over the past few years through the Women's Club at my church, I have had the opportunity to learn more about amazing place that is Abby's House. I have also been able to make food for the women that live there. This year I decided to challenge myself and participate in the 11th annual Abby's House 5K.

Abby's House is located in Worcester, MA. Their mission is to provide shelter and affordable housing, as well as advocacy and support services, to homeless, battered, and low-income women, with or without children. The vision of Abby's House is to empower the women they serve to lead self-directed lives filled with dignity and hope.

It is my hope that by participating in the 5K, I will be able to raise $1,000 to support this wonderful place. Any donation, no matter the amount, means so much to me.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the 5K will be virtual this year to ensure the safety of all participants. I plan to complete my 5K on October 10th.
