I hold this family and organization very close to my heart. I photographed the first annual marathon and learned about Gianna’s story. Little did I know that just a few years later sepsis would also take my dear friend Jess from us in 2020. And in 2021 it would almost take my life as well. I’m thankful to be alive after a long battle on life support. I owe a lot to Tara for everything’s she’s done and continues to do. I would love to give back to those who have given to me. Raising awareness is crucial. All proceeds go directly to The Gianna Cirella Memorial Fund. Anything helps. Thank you so much

The Gianna Cirella Memorial Fund has been established to provide assistance for sepsis research and assistance to children and their families who have been affected by sepsis. Sepsis affects more than 1.5 million people each year.

We never knew much about this illness until my cousin struggled and almost passed away. It was heartbreaking!! Thank God for the miracle of her recovery!! Her determination and strong faith were an inspiration !!
