Hello friends!

I am hoping you will support me as I walk with my friends and family in memory of Luke. Losing Luke, as you know, was the impetus for Hope Lives Here - the organization we founded to help adults who are also missing someone they love. Because of your incredible support over the last five years, we have been able to do SO much, including get a space, hire our first part-time employee, and of course, help a great deal of people. Last year alone we had 53 new clients! That's one a week! This year we have our hearts set on starting our Teen group and your support will go a long way in making that happen.

About HOPE LIVES HERE 5K RUN | WALK TO REMEMBER
When we experience the death of a loved one, the road ahead seems uncertain. The grief that follows is a deep expression of the love that we hold in our hearts for the person who is no longer with us in the physical world. The missing is eternal. At Hope Lives Here, the volunteers have experienced this grief and are on the path of healing. With empathy and compassion, our trained volunteers provide the vital peer to peer support that allows the bereaved to hold space for their grief while also receiving the acknowledgement from others that there is hope for healing. With your generous support for our Walk/Run to Remember this October, Hope Lives Here will continue its mission to be a place of comfort for adults in times of loss. As we move forward together, we will continue to work on creating a world where grief is consistently met with compassion, respect and understanding. Thank you for your support.
