On May 18, I am running in the Will Run for Cookies 5K to help raise funds for Dakin Humane Society, a community-supported animal welfare organization here in Western Massachusetts that provides critical care to more than 20,000 animals each year. Dakin's good work improves the lives of animals and the people who care for them -- and if you know me, you know that I care deeply about this work.
