Hey everyone!
Next month we are running in Dakin's Will Run for Cookies 5k and Wyatt is fundraising! A run to support animals that we can do with our best furry friend? Sign us up. This will be Everest's first (and probably only) 5k, so we are running under the team name Expedition Everest (iykyk).
Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated. $20 raised provides a sick kitten with essential medical care. $50 provides twenty-five vaccines for twenty-five animals or helps provide one hundred meals for pets.
By donating to Dakin Humane Society, you are helping give animals the food, shelter, and medical treatment they need and deserve. Every dollar raised goes towards creating happier and healthier lives for animals right here in our community.
In 2023 donations supported:
2,780 animals adopted
6,102 spay/neuter surgeries
3,391 pets seen at Dakin's Pet Health Center
1,893 animals given supportive care in a foster home
964 cats helped through TNR by the Kitten Street Team
65,181 pounds of food distributed from the Pet Food Aid program
